These delicious flapjacks are a firm favourite with runners at the National Running Show and  various other expos. Handmade in Devon these are the perfect accompaniment for a day on the trails, long Sunday cycles or just as a yummy treat. All are gluten free and vegan options are available. A firm favourite of mine is the outdoor box at £20 which features an assortment of flapjacks and optional gift wrap so you can post it direct to the lucky recipient (additional cost). Give the gift of racing through a virtual race with RunThrough UK. They offer virtual events from 5k to marathon or monthly distance challenges. Whilst 2020 may have had a shortage of races 2021 doesn’t need to!

A Virtual Running Tour- Secret London Runs

There are a number of virtual/self guided tours (and small group tours for those within London) and virtual events including the Virtual Valentines Gin Run. Lonely Planet produce a series of wonderful books covering Epic Runs, Rides and Hikes of the world. These are pure escapism and perfect for the restless active traveller. These retail at £24.99 for a hardback direct from Lonely planet (although were on buy one get on free when I purchased so do check the website). You can also purchase from Waterstones and other book retailers and ebooks can be found online too
