Last week I announced the biggest competition I’ve ever ran- a chance to win a week’s running holiday in the South of France with Albera Expeditions on the 1 – 8 June 2019.
Albera Expeditions are a small, local tour company providing running holidays where you can immerse yourself in the local scenery and culture. They have kindly given me a chance to join their trip in June and I have the opportunity to take one lucky winner with me.
I fell in love with trail running back in October when I hit the Mallorcan trails as part of the ASICS FrontRunner Training Camp. I used to be a hardcore road runner, but there is something just magical about the trails and I can’t wait to go back! The mountains, the fresh air and the endless days of running are truly good for your soul.
You DO NOT have to be an experienced trail or mountain runner to enter the competition. Running holidays really are for any age and ability- all the runs are scalable, they’re not compulsory and besides running there are lots of other activities including yoga (absolutely essential to help with recovery after a day of exploring), a boat trip to relax and enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean coast (plus the salt water is great for refreshing any tired muscles), kayaking and because it’s France- WINE TASTING. All runs are guided and supported so you’ll be able to enjoy your time in the great outdoors without stressing about your ability.

The trip included is the South of France: Pyrenees and Coast adventure. The Value is $1900 and this includes all the experiences, guided runs, accommodation, transfers from Barcelona airport, great food and drink and all local transfers. You will need to arrange your own travel to Barcelona (I’m flying easyjet).
